Thanks again...
Cheers to everyone who came to the crypt to see us, it was a really good night. We managed to shift all our cd's and a load of badges in about 10 minutes, which cant be bad. We've been asked to play with Caffeine and Mr Zippy on the 20th September so that should be good, apparently Caffeine have played with Rancid. Pictures of the town hall gig will be up in the next couple of days.

NAS have a new guitarist!
Pez (ex-guitarist for The Phoolz) has joined NAS today. We got together and practised, wrote a belter of a song and its looking peachy. The Lewis and Pez on guitars really makes a difference, roll on town hall...

Nunthorpe/Marton "Supergroup" Controversy
We are all familiar with the 2 bands that are Xanda and The Phoolz, both Phil and Jak bouncing between the 2 punk acts. Today a very controversial decision was made; Martin Craster, one of the founders of the legendary Xanda, has been given the boot for reasons unknown. Early speculation shows that Phoolz frontman Thomas Russell has moved in to take the prize position. Make of this what you will Nunthorpe/Marton Punks... it will be very interesting to see what happens over the coming weeks.

Haven't updated this in ages! I'd love to say things have been busy for us recently, but they haven't (except revision!). The Wayriders gig is getting closer so we're gearing up by writing some new songs and stuff. I would like to get some gigs slotted in before then in late june early july so if any bands are playing and need to support just get in touch, or we can get together and organise a gig. Over and out.

Back to the studio...
We will be recording our new EP (if you can count the first one as an EP) in the next few weeks hopefully. The new material is our best and is begging to be put on a cd so thats what we're gonna do. The new songs on there will be Words As Weapons, Hounded, Bright Lights and Sole Survivors (subject to change, lol).

The Acklam gig was great, thanks to everyone who turned up and thanks to Fude and Noise:4 (cheers especially to the singer of Noise:4 for saying we were one of the best local bands he has seen). What happens is there are something like 20 bands playing over the weeks in total and the four with the highest scores get thru to the final, so we'll keep you posted. It was an excellent gig and we gave it everything (basically jumping round and spasming madly - hence the cut open fingers and wrist injuries)
